I love having a day off!

Taking a day to rest between all of my shoots, private clients, and bridal trials. 

Starting my day with a great workout. 

Out of breath after a sweat session at the stairs. 

My brother and I enjoyed a peaceful lunchtime picnic. 

Enjoyed a facial at Spaderma. Alison is the best. I left feeling refreshed and glowy.

A quick stop at MAC to pickup some new treats.

Strolled over to the Gold Coast to LuxBar for dinner with my girl. Love it when makeup girls get together,  It's so much fun to talk shop and brainstorm. 

Ended the night with coctails on a beautiful Chicago patio. Cheers to days off!

Taking a break in NYC

I was long overdue for a break from the makeup and hair hustle. Booked a trip to my favorite city with my boo for some much needed fun! 

Time Square is a total circus but a must see. Always my first stop in NYC. 

It doesn't get any more romantic than a stroll in Central Park. On our way to the best pastrami samich at Carnegie Deli. 

Bar crawl, Peter Lugers steakhouse, ?uestlove &  clubbing in Brooklyn. 

My birthday dinner at Tao was incredible!

Factor New Gen 2014 show @ The Godfrey Chicago

The Factor New Gen party @ The Godfrey Hotel was the perfect night out. I had the chance to catch up with many of my great friends and enjoy an awesome party.

 The Godfrey was the perfect venue to host this event! So much talent under one roof!

New kit bag from MAC

I spent a relaxing Sunday organizing my kit and enjoying fashion documentaries. 

This lightweight and roomy travel bag from MAC is a perfect add on to my ever growing kit. Retails for $175

Of course I needed to replenish some staple products. 

The clear bags have velcro on back to keep them in place. So much room in each compartment.

This bag is perfect for all the products that were being crammed into my Zuca. It is also perfect if you pack it for a 1-2 person makeup application for on location services. It has the sleeve in back so that you can slip it over your Zuca handle. I love this bag and think you will too! 

Traci's Wedding makeup @Trump

Traci had a very large bridal party that I worked sans assistant. Although it was a large group, my work station was never messy or unsightly. Every brush was cleaned between clients and every product was sprayed with Beauty So Clean. 

My glamcor multimedia came in handy for moments when the sky clouded over. I always travel with chair as many hotels do not have tall seating that is comfortable. 

The view of the city and the lovely vibe in the bridal suite were perfect!
