World Triathlon Series

I had the pleasure of prepping The winners of the ITU World Triathlon Series-Chicago. Teamed up with ROKA and the stars of the WTS, we filmed a day of footage, interviews and finished with a photoshoot. 

The day began with USA Olympian Gwen Jorgensen. Gwen became the first woman to win six career ITU WTS events, topping the field at Grant Park. Hearing her story was a true inspiration and a reminder that hard work and passion are the main ingredients in fulfilling your dreams. 

Next up was bronze medalist  Mario Mola Diaz from Spain. We bonded in the makeup chair over our love for Barcelona.

This tiny superhero was the man of the hour! 

Last but not least, was four time ITU world champion Javier Gomez from Spain. Javier pumped up the crew by requesting we play his favorite band The Rolling Stones on set. 

 

I had to create sweat for our action shots!

I had such a great time shooting a street style series with Heather Talbert. She has such a talent at making the people she shoots feel at ease.  The tables were turned as I am always the one prepping my talent for photoshoots. Thanks for the fun!

Some new products for my kit!

Always need to keep the kit tight!

New kit bag from MAC

I spent a relaxing Sunday organizing my kit and enjoying fashion documentaries. 

This lightweight and roomy travel bag from MAC is a perfect add on to my ever growing kit. Retails for $175

Of course I needed to replenish some staple products. 

The clear bags have velcro on back to keep them in place. So much room in each compartment.

This bag is perfect for all the products that were being crammed into my Zuca. It is also perfect if you pack it for a 1-2 person makeup application for on location services. It has the sleeve in back so that you can slip it over your Zuca handle. I love this bag and think you will too! 

Prep and scheduling for a very busy spring

GEtting my clients scheduled for a crazy busy 2014-2015 is what it's all about!

I love my Chicago cafés! I make sure to hit all my favorites in many different neighborhoods. I definitely enjoy a great café crawl!

I try to devote at least 2hrs per day for scheduling and corresponding with clients.

Get me a green tea latte and it's on!

This weekend @ Bon Ton Milwaukee

Having to wake up at 6am on a Sunday is my least favorite thing but it's all worth it once I get to paint beautiful faces. Had the pleasure of shooting with Max @ Bon Ton in Milwaukee. The beautiful Becca @ Ford models was my perfect canvas.

My favorite days start at 8am and end by 10am. Had the pleasure of working with a stellar crew and amazing talent. 

Wrapped a great shoot then darted off to one of my favorite cafés to continue working. Booking my clients for a very busy 2014. I am grateful to all who keep me busy!
