Norma & Alex

I met Norma and Alex last year at our bridal trial. They are the ultimate lovebirds and compliment each other beautifully. The love they have for one another fills the room with happiness. 

I met Norma at her home for a second trial. Her hair is much longer now and she decided an updo would be the perfect style. 

We decided on a soft and elegant updo with volume and texture. 

Norma loves makeup and is truly a glamorous gal! The look consists of  dramatic eyes, flawless, radiant skin and kissable lips.

The direction for hair was a "modern day Farrah/Bardot"

Giorgio Armani sculpt foundation with Laura Mercier on lips, Nars on cheeks, Stila on eyes and Guerlain on lashes. I created a messy side fishtail braid. 

AT&T 2 day commercial

I've been slacking on the blog but so damn happy that this makeup hustle keeps me running! I had a great time shooting with the AT&T flagship store on Michigan Ave. 

We started our shoot at Pizzaria Uno. Talk about the best day at work! Pizza and beer were flowing! Stephen, Carla and the rest of the crew were amazing to work with. The folks below are all AT&T reps. Super cool group!

We shot all over our amazing city! The views were breathtaking!

The coolest part was getting to the sky deck at the Sears Tower. True Chicago peeps will always  call it Sears Tower!

Back at the store to shoot some AT&T Headshots. Honestly it was such a good time, it didn't feel like work at all!

As a freelance makeup artist you must be ready to set up shop anywhere!

Prep and scheduling for a very busy spring

GEtting my clients scheduled for a crazy busy 2014-2015 is what it's all about!

I love my Chicago cafés! I make sure to hit all my favorites in many different neighborhoods. I definitely enjoy a great café crawl!

I try to devote at least 2hrs per day for scheduling and corresponding with clients.

Get me a green tea latte and it's on!
